COOKIE POLICY

of the GetMacun online store

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies the Site www.getmacun.com uses, and how you can manage your preferences. This Policy forms part of our [Privacy Policy].

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to “remember” your actions and preferences for a certain period of time, so that it works properly and improves your experience.

In addition to cookies, we also use similar technologies (e.g. local storage and pixels), to which this Policy applies in the same way.

2. What cookies we use

2.1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function properly — for example, for the shopping cart, logging into your user account, and maintaining your session. Without them, the Site cannot work correctly. They do not require consent.

2.2. Functional cookies
These allow the Site to remember your choices (for example, language, region or the contents of your cart) in order to offer you a more personalised experience.

2.3. Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the Site — which pages are visited most often and how visitors move through it — so that we can improve the store’s content and performance. The data is usually collected in aggregated form.

2.4. Marketing cookies
These are used to show relevant ads and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, including through third-party platforms.

3. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are placed by service providers we use, for example:

  • Google Analytics — for traffic analysis
  • Meta/Facebook Pixel — for marketing and remarketing
  • Payment providers and embedded content (e.g. videos, maps) — when such features are used.

These third parties process the data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

4. Cookie consent

On your first visit to the Site, a cookie banner is displayed, through which you can accept or decline the use of optional cookies (functional, analytics and marketing). Strictly necessary cookies are always loaded, as they are required for the Site to work.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on the Site [if applicable] or through your browser settings.

5. How to manage cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • see which cookies are stored and delete them individually;
  • block third-party cookies;
  • block cookies from specific sites;
  • block all cookies;
  • delete all cookies when you close the browser.

Please note that blocking all cookies may disrupt the proper functioning of the Site and some of its features (e.g. the shopping cart).

Instructions for managing cookies in the most common browsers can be found in their help sections (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge).

6. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to update this Cookie Policy. The current version is always available on the Site, with the date of last update indicated.

7. Contacts

If you have questions about the use of cookies, you can contact us:
